A Note from the President

Serving as President of the Junior League of Wichita has been one of the greatest honors of my life. This past year, I have had the privilege of witnessing what is possible when passionate women come together with a shared commitment to leadership, service, and strengthening our wonderful community.

Together, we have focused on building a stronger League from the inside out. We have invested in developing our members as leaders through the EmpoweHER Conference and Salary Negotiation trainings, strengthened communication and collaboration across the organization through several Done in a Days, welcomed new members into our League family, and continued laying the groundwork for a bright and sustainable future. At the same time, we have remained committed to creating meaningful community impact through our current focus area and through partnerships.

As we look ahead, I am energized by the opportunities before us. We will continue building strong leaders, cultivating community partnerships, and ensuring the long-term success of our organization through thoughtful stewardship and innovation. We also look forward to another incredible Holiday Galleria as we celebrate its 22nd year of bringing our community together while raising critical funds to support our mission.

The Junior League of Wichita has spent more than a century preparing women to lead and creating lasting change in our community. I am grateful to serve alongside women whose dedication, generosity, and vision continue to move our mission forward. Whether you are a current member, a community partner, or someone learning about our League for the first time, thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we are building a stronger League, stronger leaders, and a stronger Wichita for generations to come.

Sincerely,

Niomi Thompson
