Junior League of Wichita is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Community Impact

Our current focus is combating child abuse in the Wichita area through awareness, prevention, and intervention. Click on the Donate Now button to the right to support the Trash Bag Handbag campaign/ambassacors. When a child is removed from the home in police protective custody (and often in subsequent moves within the system) their belongings are put in trash sacks. This campaign raises money for duffel bags and essential items such as clothing, journals, and comfort items. These bags will be distributed to local agencies and hospitals through ICT SOS.

Are you looking to join a group of women who empower others to better not only themselves but also the Wichita community? Then you have found your people! Deadline is May 17.   https://www.jlwichita.org/?nd=becoming_member

Improving Our Community: Combating Child Abuse

We are proud of our history of stepping up to Wichita's biggest challenges. Junior League of Wichita currently works with the community to combat child abuse through awareness, prevention and intervention.

Developing the Potential of Women

Part of our mission is to develop our members' leadership skills. Our members then apply these skills on boards and committees in a variety of fields all across our community.
